2025 The Good Fight

Boston, MA, January 30, 2025…ADL (The Anti-Defamation League) held a panel conversation on preventing and responding to antisemitism in K-12 schools featuring the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Andrea Joy Campbell, Counsel to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, Mary Murrane, and Becky Shuster, Principal of Home Ground Consulting, LLC. The event took place at the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse and was attended by 200 supporters from across Massachusetts.

The panel featured Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell, who was sworn in on January 18, 2023 as the 45th Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, pledging to build economic prosperity and stability for all residents, prioritize the mental health and well-being of children, stop cycles of incarceration and violence and ensure the people across the state have access to the Attorney General’s Office regardless of their zip code, language or ability. “In addition to our litigation tools, we are implementing training across our school districts through our Civil Rights Division and Children’s Justice Unit. We are issuing guidance and actively showing up on the ground, to train folks on how to investigate, change policies, create a culture that is more inclusive, and how to respond to bullying or antisemitic conduct within their school districts”, said Attorney General Andrea Campbell.

“I want to take a moment to acknowledge that there are many communities experiencing hate right now” said ADL New England’s Deputy Director Sara Colb. “By focusing on antisemitism, we’re not overlooking the need to address those other forms of hate as well. Indeed, it is essential that we come together to combat all hate. Because when we come together in this fight, we can’t lose.”
